    The Dayan Zhanchi is one of the best starting cubes in my opinion, very controllable with decent corner cutting, plus it has a great color scheme.

    I use:

    Black Plastic

    White
    Red
    Grass Green
    Light Yellow
    Light Orange
    Deep Blue

    This is the Zhanchi color scheme, i really hate fluro colors…

    Well, for my moyu aolong v2 i use the Dayan Zhanchi color scheme (Its really great) along with weight 3 lube for the pieces and weight 4 for the core. I don’t mess around with tension that much though.

    For lube you should go to thecubicle.us and buy weight 3 lube for the pieces and weight 4 for the core. Picking a cube is very subjective so i won’t really be able to help you there.
